My name is Peter M. Flannery. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston 1976. My major was Biology.
My career has included jobs in Resturaunt Hospitality, Carpentry, Laboratory Analysis, ECG Computer Analysis,
Solar Energy Contracting , Mechanical Consulting Engineering as an HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Supression Systems Designer,
Residential Real Estate Management and Development as an Energy Manager/Facilities Consultant and Energy Engineer for a DSM
Company.
I have recieved a first place award for Energy Conservation in Commercial Buildings from the Boston chapter
of The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
I have been a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, The Association
of Energy Engineers and The Building Owners and Managers Institute. I am curently a member of Mass PIRG, Greenpeace
and the New England Wind Fund. I have signed the Wingspread Principles on the US Response to Global Warming.
I have a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Building Technology from Northeastern University, a Certificate
in Energy Conservation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. a Certificate in HVAC Design from Franklin Institute and a Certificate
in Building Failures from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
My most recent accomplishment was recieving a Certificate of Accreditation for my successful completion of Lessons
in Lighting On-Line from Lightolier.I also became a University of Massacusetts Alumni member of Students for Socially Responsible
Impacts in May, 2006. I have joined NativeEnergy to offset my carbon footprint of 1 ton of CO2.
